May was a crazy, fantastic, month. I turned 35, had my first official Mother's day, saw my son get baptized, and saw my husband take his final college course! I am so proud of Jason for not only going back to school at the age of 35, but for finishing it. Out of the twenty-something students who started the program at the same time Jason did, he is the ONLY one that will be walking across that stage in a few weeks! He worked so hard, and it was not easy, but he stuck it out and I know it will be worth it. Also, I really like having him home in the evenings now.
As May came to an end, we celebrated Memorial weekend with friends at the pool. It was the first time that Hayes went swimming! He loves bath time, so it was no surprise that he loved the swimming pool! It is so fun getting to see him learn new things and experience them for the first time. He amazes me every day!
I hope he likes to swim because his momma sure does! We will take many trips back to the pool this summer. I think he'll be excited about it!
